David Massingham (UK) is currently Artistic Director of DanceXchange and resident dance company, Bare Bones, as well as Co-Artistic Director of the International Dance Festival, Birmingham. For this festival in 2008, David produced the large scale open air performance event, Watch This Space with the Hofesh Shechter Dance Company featuring 30 performers. His latest choreographic work, With The Company We Keep, was for the highly acclaimed Bare Bones tour of The 5 Man Show. David is now leading on a new initiative called DanceTV through a joint venture company with Maverick Television. His presence in Australia has been proudly supported by the British Council. Critical Path, in association with AusDance NSW will provide an opportunity for NSW choreographers to hone their pitching skills in a 45 minute mentoring session with David Massingham.
