an understanding of choreographic research and building a discourse
around this is the capturing of research activity as it takes place.
Critical Path presents one major interdisciplinary project each year
and engages an outside-eye to document the process and the outcomes.
In 2006 we hosted a dance film laboratory facilitated by Belgium filmmaker Thierry de Mey, which was documented by choreographer/filmmaker Tracie Mitchell. 2005 featured a Composers & Choreographers Exchange involving 3 choreographers, 3 composers, 3 dancers and 3 musicians, which was documented by program manager Sally MacDonald.
