What we do
Established in 2004, Critical Path is a dynamic, responsive
organization. Our principal goal is to support innovative
research by NSW choreographers.
We deliver a program of research opportunities which promote
innovation by creating opportunities for choreographers to
explore new ways of working, develop new networks and engage
in debate and critical appreciation of dance. Best practice
in artistic research is incorporated into a diverse program
which features a 3-strand model of Curated, Responsive and
Mentoring projects.

The Drill is a large yellow building by the water’s
edge on New Beach Road, opposite no. 42 and past the Cruising
Yacht Club.

Supporters
Critical Path is an initiative of Arts NSW, with program funding
from the Australia Council, the Australian Government’s
arts funding and advisory body. Partnerships with other organisations
are being developed to extend the diversity of input into the
project.
