Welcome to SEAM 2009 Spatial Phrases, Sydney 7 – 20 September, 2009.

SEAM 2009 Spatial Phrases is a multi-tiered event that explores the nexus between architecture, space, film and the moving body. It includes a 3-day Symposium, multiple workshops, specially commissioned performances and installations by some of Sydney's most exciting choreographers and dance practitioners and a series of artist's talks.

Over 2-weeks SEAM Spatial Phrases will offer attendees the opportunity to engage in lively debate and critical and artistic exchanges with local and international dance makers, architects, film-makers and theorists working to articulate or re-define the seams of film dance and architecture.

Critical Path in collaboration with the University of Technology, Sydney and the University of Hertfordshire, UK is excited to host this event and invites you to participate in one of the many activities planned over the 2-weeks.
